ANOTHER OPENING!
ANOTHER SHOW!!!
With our work for the day finally accomplished, we all took a bit of time to wander about the Festival grounds, seeing what was new and different this year. Among other things, the Tournament Field (Photo, Left) has been redone with a shorter field but more benches, now wrapping around three-quarters of the Lists. This is a considerable improvement over previous years -- but still no shade for the audience!!! (Photo, Below): An overcast Sunday provides some relief for the audience after Opening Weekend, shown here watching the Hanlon-Lee Action Theater performing feats of arms before the Royal Court at TRF.

The new "Roman Basilica" (Photos Right and Below) offers yet another open-air chapel for more Renaissance-style weddings at TRF. Aye, the design may be somewhat Minimalist, but the setting is certainly Romantic enough: that can't be denied!

The Globe Theatre (Photo, Right) was nearly deserted this day, save for a couple of players rehearsing their lines. (Photo, Below): On Opening Weekend, however, the Throw-Up Comedy Juggling act packed them in with their off-beat humor and comedy juggling routines!
