        FAIRE FRIENDS
        at
        SCARBOROUGH 2002

While walking by Pendragon Costumes, I was startled to hear my name suddenly called out. It turned out to be my friend Shelley (AKA Kyleigh, shown clowning for the camera: Photo, Below), down from Kansas. It was great to see her again, especially as she only made TRF once last year. We had a great visit, catching up on all our personal news while trying to stay out of the way of Pendragon's many customers. It also gave me the opportunity to take a few portraits of the lovely young lass for my own archive!

A formal portrait of Shelley, taken at Pendragon Costumes at Scarborough (Photo, Left).

Trying hard not to laugh, Shel shows off her many faire favours (Photo, Right). We finally had to move out of Pendragon to the garden area across the lane, where this portrait was taken. As usual, it was great seeing her again and visiting with her even for a short while. Alas, I still had shows to see and more people to meet, so we had to part -- 'til TRF in the Fall!

TAZ, Swordmaster and Knight of Chaos (Photo, Right), paused briefly for his portrait just inside the Main Gate at Scarborough. This was one of the few times I've seen the man at another faire in broad daylight OUTSIDE of the TRF Patron Campground! Needless to say, it was an OCCASION to take a picture of him!!!
